With only the third week in the books for the Big 12, the hierarchy has formed with Baylor and Kansas battling for the top spot as Texas Tech and West Virginia chase right on their tails.
Following this quartet, there's a significant drop off with Oklahoma, Texas, and TCU looking to make a push for tournament consideration while Kansas State, Iowa State, and Oklahoma State are struggling to find their footing. In all, this season has been a disappointing one for the Big 12, who typically has six to eight teams battling for post-season play. Thus far, only the top four schools appear to have their tickets punched for the tourney.
